City Hall Disneyland Anaheim CAFrom the looks of the two pictures above I believe that Walt Disney may have visited Sidney before he located to Burbank CA and started building the Disneyland. The City Hall in Disneyland has a strong similarity to the Courthouse in Sidney OH.
Also if you ever wondered how Disneyland keeps Space Mountain so white? Here is your answer.....

That is funny! I would probably not have noticed the similarities. But, I am not extremely observant at times.

Welcome Home! You seem to have a GREAT eye for the similarities of settings worldwide. But, as Walt planned the park, he said that he wanted it to look like any town Main Street USA.
Would have like to be there for the Tiki Room, Haunted Mansion and Pirate of..... OH, yes Small world, Hall of Presidents. Do they still have the GE rotating Progess family theatre?

Not to disappoint you, but Small World is closed for renovations until Nov 2008. The Hall of Presidents is only at WDW (Walt Disney World) in Liberty Square.
Disneyland has New Orleans Square.
And the Carousal of Progress is only in Walt Disney World. the original theater is still in Disneyland but is home to Innovations.
